Abused

The eyes that fly rapidly crash

as beautiful lies burn hope to ash.

Tongue does praise

and soothes with licks

before it slashes.

Alluring invite

to dream of love throughout an endless night.

Rises the day,

dream decays,

nightmare in disguise.

Violently woken,

to have my dauntless heart be broken –

my innocence’s untimely demise.

Chained, tied up, inebriated with fear,

my love for you, nevertheless, sincere.

You said that I had free will,

but that you knew I would never say no.

I felt your knife slit my hip,

cut by cut, sweet words on your lips:

“Nice and slow… nice and slow… nice and slow…”

Slash after slash,

gash over gash

on my skin so frail.

To the music of my wailing – per your request –

a blood trail.

You smiled to kill,

and lunged your cowardly blow.

I lied helpless, oblivious to time,

your most prized crime,

hostage in your horror show.

Rape, beating,

starvation, sleep deprivation,

at last, in my flesh,

an electric sensation –

a shocking feeling.

You were done with me, you said,

walked away and let me go.

I fled, but right back to you I came.

Am I really to blame?

You’ve poisoned my soul!

I was free, far away, alive,

had managed to survive,

yet, the shackles I chose.

The thrill on your face

at the cost of my disgrace…

A whip in your hand

when you made your sadistic demand:

“Take off your clothes.”

Death, merciful death,

hear me cry out your name.

May my tormented soul soon gasp

the last breath of my shame.
